What can I say? I'm officially a lover of Poker Run. Would love to experience much more Poker Runs on other Islands (will have to work on manifesting my boat first 🤭). What is a Poker Run?
Well, I'm glad you asked, cause this was a question I also had. Here was the process if you wanted to participate to win the prizes.
Register - Online registration was available at VIPokerRun.com. The pre-registration Party was held at Pier 22 Grand Opening event on Saturday, May 20, 2023. Final chances to register were held on Sunday, May 21, 2023, at the 1st stop - Across from the Federal Building on the waterfront. Boats weren't required to play to win.
Card Pull - A scorecard with your designated number was given during registration. There were 5 stops in total. A card is pulled at each stop for a total of 5 cards.
Select the Winners - Each participant's pull cards were posted on the scoreboard next to their designated number. The officials reviewed each hand to determine the players with the top best hand (cards) according to the game of Poker. Cash prizes were: 1st Place-$8,000; 2nd Place-$4,000 and last place $2,000.
